In 1729 Jonathan Swift published a classic work of satire that has become a satirical staple in history. His essay described a method by which both poverty and overpopulation could be solved by selling the babies of the poor to rich English gentlemen as a fine delicacy. Swift points fingers at the absurdity of society during a time of depression and strife by demonizing the rich and commenting on society in a way that invokes laughter instead of further depression. In this same spirit EatBabies.com was born.
EatBabies.com is a site devoted to satire in all its forms. It began as a site specifically devoted to satire involving eating babies, but has evolved and expanded to include satire of all topics.
